Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Gateway to Modern Morocco
The journey begins in Casablanca, the largest and most modern metropolis in Morocco. We will visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, an impressive monument that combines Islamic tradition with contemporary architecture. We will stroll along the city’s corniche, enjoying its cosmopolitan atmosphere and the Atlantic Ocean.
Overnight in Casablanca to rest and prepare for the adventure.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat, the Imperial Capital
Depart for Rabat, the administrative and political capital of Morocco. We will explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its picturesque streets and Andalusian gardens. We will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which houses the tombs of important royal figures, and the Hassan Tower, a city symbol with its unfinished minaret.
Rabat offers a perfect balance between history and modernity.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes, Heritage and Tradition
We continue to Meknes, an imperial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit the impressive Bab Mansour, considered one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco, and walk through historic gardens and squares.
The Medina of Meknes, less touristy but full of life, will offer us an authentic glimpse of traditional Morocco.
Day 4: Meknes – Volubilis – Fez, A Journey to the Past
From Meknes, we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, the most important archaeological site in Morocco, famous for its well-preserved mosaics and ancient structures dating back to the 3rd century BC.
Afterwards, we will arrive in Fez, the oldest and culturally richest imperial city, where we will stay to explore thoroughly the next day.
Day 5: Fez, Cultural and Spiritual Heart of Morocco
We dedicate a full day to touring the Medina of Fez, a World Heritage site. We will visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest functioning university in the world, and explore the souks, artisan workshops, and leather tanneries.
The medieval atmosphere and the city’s hustle and bustle will immerse us in an authentic and unforgettable experience.
Day 6: Fez – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Marrakech
We leave Fez to travel through the Middle Atlas mountain range, making a stop in Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its European architecture and cool atmosphere.
We continue the journey crossing mountainous landscapes until we reach the colorful and dynamic city of Marrakech, where we will begin to explore its famous Medina and Jemaa el-Fna square.
Day 7: Marrakech, The Red City
We conclude our tour with a day dedicated to discovering Marrakech. We will visit the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Menara gardens, and stroll through the lively and colorful souks. Jemaa el-Fna square comes alive especially at sunset with musicians, storytellers, and food stalls.
Marrakech represents the perfect ending for a journey through Moroccan history and culture.
