From the ancient imperial city of Fez, we will traverse stunning mountainous landscapes, lush valleys, and reach the mythical Sahara to experience an unforgettable night under the stars, ending the adventure in the vibrant city of Marrakech.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

The journey begins very early departing from Fez. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its architecture and cool climate. We then continue to the Azrou cedar forest, home to the famous Barbary macaques, which can be observed in their natural habitat.

We keep traveling through the spectacular Ziz Valley, with its endless palm groves and picturesque villages. At sunset, we arrive at Merzouga, where we take a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes to enjoy the magical desert sunset.

We end the day with a traditional Berber dinner and a night in a desert camp with tents under the starry Sahara sky.

Day 2: Sunrise in the Desert – Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Waking up in the desert to witness the sunrise over the dunes is an unforgettable experience. After breakfast, we return to Merzouga and begin the journey towards the impressive Todra Gorges, a canyon with vertical walls reaching up to 300 meters, perfect for walking and admiring the power of nature.

We continue to the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” where we spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

After breakfast, we head to Ouarzazate, called the “Gateway to the Desert” and the center of Morocco’s film industry. We visit the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the city’s most emblematic buildings.

Next, we continue to the impressive Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for famous movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We take a guided tour through its narrow streets and fortifications.

The journey concludes crossing the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass in the High Atlas, with spectacular panoramas announcing our arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 4: Marrakech – Day of Discovery and Farewell

The last day is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, with its famous Jemaa el-Fna square, colorful and aromatic souks, and historic monuments such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens.
