We begin our adventure departing from Errachidia, traveling through the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and traditional adobe kasbahs. Along the way, we’ll make stops to enjoy the natural beauty and take incredible photos.
We continue to Erfoud, the “Gateway to the Desert,” famous for its fossil workshops where you can discover the local craftsmanship of fossilized stone.
Later, we head north toward Midelt, a peaceful town nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for its pleasant climate and mountain scenery.
Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in Midelt, where you’ll rest and recharge for the next day’s journey.
Day 2: Midelt – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fez
After breakfast, we continue along the Middle Atlas route, passing cedar forests and mountain landscapes. We stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine-style architecture and clean, green surroundings.
We then visit Azrou, where you may spot Barbary macaques (wild monkeys) in their natural forest habitat.
From there, we make our way to Fez, one of the oldest and most culturally rich imperial cities in Morocco.
